2-Channel Sampling Pump

BiVOC2 (only informational)

  • BiVOC2 with optional climate sensor
  • Simultaneus dual-sampling on TENAX adsorbents

BiVOC2 has been replaced in November 2018 by BiVOC2V2 (version 2).

To the new model BiVOC2V2.

The new compact 2-channel pump BiVOC2 allows you to perform simultaneous dual air-sampling in the range of low volume flow starting at 0.1 l/min.

Perfect for air-sampling on TENAX sample-media with 0.1 SL/min volume flow.

Of course, other sample-media can be loaded as well – such as activated carbon tubes, DNPH cartridges and silica gel – with a volume flow of max. 1.9 l/min*.
*The maximum achievable flow rate is determined by the differential pressure dependent on the sample-medium.

You can freely store up to 10 preset programs.

Start delay and interval mode can also be configured, naturally.

BiVOC2 supports the volume types Standard Liters, Normal Liters and volumetric Liters (with optional climate sensor HC2A-S).

The data of the last 64 samplings can be viewed on the display.

The high target volume range of up to 5000 Liters allows to use the BiVOC2 to generate a precise exchange rate for air in test chambers – along with “automatic” documentation when data logging is enabled.

The power of the pump is automatically regulated according to the current requirements. That way, a battery runtime of up to 15 hours can be reached.

Sampling is getting more easy and relibale with BiVOC2:

  • Connect sample medium
  • Select preset program
  • Press start

The rest is done by BiVOC2 – you can address yourself unstressed to other tasks.

Application

Source: Dr. Maraun, ARGUK-Umweltlabor GmbH

What is possible with BiVOC2:

This is a current application by Mr. Dr. Maraun, ARGUK-Umweltlabor GmbH, for sampling and identification of mercury in ambient air.

One channel with a pair of DOWEX activated carbon samplers and two activated carbon samplers on the other one. This allows to determine the total mercury as well as “ionic” mercury, especially “sublimate”.

Details can be found in the report of the study (in German).

Software

User interface of BiVOC2.exe

The BiVOC2.EXE software included in delivery can be used to:

  • Easily set-up BiVOC2 (all settings can also be made directly at BiVOC2)
  • Completely control BiVOC2 remotely
  • Read, store and export the stored sampling data to EXCEL
  • Update the firmware (BiVOC2 operating system)
  • Change the adjustment data, e.g. during recalibration

The sampling data stored in BiVOC2 can be exported directly to a customer specific EXCEL template.

The sampling history can also be recorded in freely definable intervals and exported to an EXCEL spreadsheet. The EXCEL template can be adapted according to customer requirements.

The PC software BiVOC2.EXE runs on the operating systems Microsoft Windows XP and newer. Microsoft Windows and EXCEL are not included in the delivery of the PC software BiVOC2.exe.

Further Information

Optional Sample Media Bracket

With the optional sample media bracket, the adsorbents can conveniently and flexibly be positioned above from the pump.

Simply click in and fix the media bracket, insert the sample media and adjust its position – that's it!

Personalization

BiVOC2 can be personalized.

When the BiVOC2 is switched on, a screen containing the serial number and manufacturer information is shown for 4 seconds. The 3rd and 4th row containing the manufacturer information can be changed by us for personalization according to your wishes before shipping.

A pump that displays your name, company name, web address or similar on startup surely has an effect on anti-theft protection and product value, too. In case of disposal, the text of these two lines can again be changed by us.
